The Nativity scene in a shop window in Dalkeith is about 60 years old and was thought to be lost until it was recently found in some dusty boxes at Vogrie House.  The figures were in a poor state with broken limbs and peeling paint but have now been repaired and can be displayed again although they will no longer be outside as they are fragile.
