is a simple pigeon

straight at me - through somewhat sheer clouds - backlit by a masked sun - it made for a bit of a drama - so i decided to do just a tiny bit - of faffing with it and added - a slight painterly effect - quite subtle, not too overpowering - i was only attempting to enhance - that dramatic beauty the sunlight was playing upon - hopefully i've done it some justice - because i believe pigeons are - gorgeous birds especially when seen - with wings outstretched like this

it seems like such a simple thing - yet it's in those simple moments - we need to maintain our joy and peace - try not to lose sight of that - as we quickly approach the fever pitch - with christmas bearing down upon us - don't allow the hype to take away - what rightfully should be..
