Winter Woodland
Birch branches, cut and tied in bundles, ready to be taken away to a customer. I wonder what they will be used for? Brush hedging, cross-country horse jumps...? The winter woodland is full of life with the foresters cutting and pruning and the birds flitting in the tree tops eating seeds and berries. Its such a pleasure just to stand and listen to all that is going on.
A definite sense of things starting to wind down at work today. There seemed to be less traffic on the road too. I think some of the schools broke up this afternoon so that would probably explain the latter.
Outside there has been lots of heavy rain, coming over in prolonged downpours. The dog is frustrated as it means he has only had one run today. Hopefully tomorrow will be drier.
