Mexi's first Christmas

Although she is 8 years old I have only had her 12 months in January, before she came to me she had been used for breeding and showing and was locked up in a cage for most of her life, she now hates any doors that are closed and paces backwards and forwards if she's shut behind one.

It's sad but I do have to shut her away in my kitchen when I go off to work and to see her act this way is upsetting, but the comfort is she's with the others and its not all day and night.

So this year will be a special Christmas for her with presents and lots of loving.
