BBC sports Personality awards

I was lucky enough to have gotten two free tickets to this years spirts personality of the year awards night! I think it was because I was a medal winner in the European championships in Berlin earlier this year.
It really was a night to remember, because it fell on birthday! So it was a double treat!
I loved watching all the sportspeople. They were all so inspiring.
We were also lucky enough to have been allowed access to the VIP party. This is where we got to meet some of the celebrities.
At one moment, I saw Gareth Southgate walk past. And I quickly ran to him and got a photo with him! And Clare Balding!
It really was a night that summed up a fantastic year of sport!
