Belted Kingfisher

Wendy and I had a wonderful morning at Lake Artemesia.  I had read the bird report from this area and it was right-on.  The bonus was to see several Kingfishers.  They are such difficult little devils to capture so while this isnt' the best, I was pretty tickled to get it.  It was taken from quite a distance and is heavily cropped. It was my best day since Costa Rica!
