Parallel Lines .......

A wet morning so brought in the 4 cows with wee calves from the field at the road end. They didn’t take much persuasion .
Once everything was fed , nipped away to the bank and post office . Back to the VW dealership to get them to check out the engine problem. Left the car with them and got the train back. Only my 3 rd trip on the Borders Railway since it opened. Started the 4 mile walk home from the station when a farmer friend passed and offered me a lift which was gratefully accepted.
An afternoon spent going through 3 sheds of cows replacing missing ear tags. Hopefully that’s everything fully legal again.
The Borders Railway is only single track so every so often they have double track like here to allow trains to pass each other
