Last Light

No ice this morning for the bike ride in. It's quite mild, rain is on the way, but its doesn't happen until later in the morning. Due to roadworks, I take a slightly different route.

By the time the rain starts, I am quite busy, but the sky is very dark and grey. The rain is supposed to clear at about 1, but it doesn't, and so lunchtime walk is a few laps around the office. Manage to get a weird problem sorted in the afternoon, just as the rain stops. As is typical at this time of year, rain and day stop at the same time.

Time to go home. About 1/2 mile from the office, I look behind me, the sky is clearing after the sun has set. Last light of day is about to be swallowed up by night. As with this morning, the rest of the ride home is ok, but a bit breezy. Only 5 working days until Christmas.
