Coup
A dreich day with sweet eff all daylight.
Anyway, I have survived.
The highlights?
A "next steps" phone call with the First Minister's office.
Then a grateful call from a woman I helped 9 months ago. It was being alleged she had withheld information about her housing benefit entitlement and was facing a £3,000 repayment claim.
I spent hours trying to figure out what had been going on, but today's news was our input gave her the confidence to fight the claim all the way to a tribunal, and she won.
Meantime, London is making plans for a no-deal Brexit. Part of this will involve putting 3,500 troops on the streets.
Now, a wee question. What kind of government deliberately pursues a policy which (it believes) will justify putting troops onto the streets?
