Stenton is so pretty. Although the "cross" in the foreground of this picture might look a bit sinister, it was actually the scales for weighing fleeces back in the days when they held agricultural fairs in Stenton.

A nice, relaxing day: took the boys to rugby training then went up to Stenton with Joanne and Chris, before a late-ish lunch at the Linton Hotel, East Linton. It's under new management, and they get top marks from me.
