Pelicans and Cormorants

We went to Natural Bridges State Beach this morning, and also walked through the Monarch Grove there, hoping to spot wintering butterflies who gather in huge clusters to keep warm. We didn't spot any clusters, but apparently they are there. Later, Eric and I managed to get completely soaked as we walked out into a strong rain shower to see Mission Santa Cruz not far from Soozaday's. But, she made an excellent fire, and neighbors stopped in with a bottle of Irish Cream, so we didn't suffer much. Our last day ended with a lovely family dinner.
