Torn

Between this image and the one in extras for today's blip.

Made a concerted effort to get up and out early today after seeing the weather report last night.

An app on my phone shows the direction of the sun at any given time and suggested the sun would rise in line with this breakwater.

Unfortunately, cloud prevented the lovely sunrise I had hoped for but there was a brief pre-dawn glow that I was pleased to capture.  Strong wind made this challenging and keeping water droplets off of the lens was a constant battle.

As I was walking home through the old harbour I noticed large sea swells hitting the harbour walls so headed down there to take a closer look.  The sea certainly was rough and made some great shapes and with a number of possible blips now to hand, made choosing just one, a little hard.
