Capitan.

Wow! Free Solo is quite a movie. And Alex Honnold is quite an individual. Lots of interesting ethical questions raised and some truly spectacular footage. I obviously then had to dig around in a box of travel memorabilia and dig out some Yosemite stuff from when I was there in 1997. For two nights, camping in the cold, the slight element of danger and excitement provided by the big metal bear-proof lockers next to the tent that you had to store any food and toiletries in. Needless to say we didn't see any bears. Or mountain lions. Nor was there any climbing involved.

An evening round at justsitting's with jaybroek and and another non-blipping pal. There was talk of watching a movie, but really, it was just talk. And beer. A fine time!
