2018 Monday — Angry Ocean
The weather reporters predicted that we’d have huge waves today and they were correct! Not one of my photos was a good capture that really shows the size of the waves. The waves were and still are quite large and they seem fierce. There were many warnings not to get into the water and not to stand on the shore to be spectators, and never, never to turn your back to the ocean.
So we watched it from a distance.
Today we also went into San Luis Obispo and enjoyed breakfast at “Louisa’s Place” and then went on to the print shop to get our Christmas cards/letter printer, so it should be in the mail in a day or two. Then we came back to Cayucos to get the three pups their morning meal (even though it was noon). Then we gathered our soup jars and headed out to get to the Farmers Market in Los Osos/Baywood Park. From there it was time to stop at the grocery store and do a re-stocking of the pantry of the Central Coast house, since a thorough grocery shopping had not happened since summer when we were here for an extended stay. Mondays are usually busy when we are on the coast; that was very true today. Tomorrow should be quieter.
Good night from Cayucos,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
