Smoke in the Valley

It has been quite a busy day, catching up after a week on the road. I tend to forget that days are short, so I was little squeezed for time for my daily shot. I was squeezed for ideas for that matter. In any case, I had to pick up Maria's photo book that arrived while I was away, and I stopped on the way back and tried to make something out of this particular view. This handheld shot is also rather squeezed in terms of ISO value.

What I do look forward to is to have dinner with Maria this evening to see her reaction to her 18 years in pictures : )
