27 swans flew over me

To me, the best thing in winter is beautiful sunny and snowy days. Today we had one and I was lucky to be able to enjoy sunny scenery several hours outside. Temperature was about -17 degrees, but it didn't feel too cold because it was not windy at all.

Sun was setting when we stopped to bridge Rajasalmi to take some photos of the stunning lake landscape. It was really hard to pick today's blip picture! Sunset over a frosty lake is quite unique but what felt really unique was 27 noisy swans that were flying over me and disappeared to the sunset.

We also saw a lonely goosander swimming in a small open water area without ice. He should copy swans and leave soon to warmer areas!
