SOB - Rain

For the first time in my 19 trips with SOB, and only the second time ever in almost 50 total trips to Mexico, play today was canceled due to rain. Not a little rain mind you, but a full on downpour that began late last night and continued unabated until the afternoon. The deluge didn’t deter some hardcores who played despite heavy volleyballs and hard sand, but the majority of the guests played cards or caught up on sleep. The rain did let up by 15:00 encouraging players to flock back to the beach. The clearing clouds created a fabulous sunset which almost was my blip, but sunsets are easy to come by while November rains happen only rarely.
