Mono Monday - Game

Badminton is my favourite game. (In case anyone doesn't recognise it, my blip is a bird's eye view of a shuttlecock.)

This morning Bruce, my local electrician, came to replace three lights in the communal part of this building and, since he's the only person I know with a long ladder, I asked him if he'd be willing to take down the birds' nest above our front door. The occupants - swallows or house-martins - are away to warmer climes for the winter, but for months in summer their droppings make a terrible mess of our doorstep.

Bruce, bless him, was game...
