Squirrel

Today has been wet and cold, so another picture through the window, this time of one of the squirrels which visit our garden. Today it was eating from its own feeder and the Wood Pigeon was eating from the bird table. I chose this one as being the best, although I liked the one of him curled up in the branches of the tree where he appeared to be going to sleep.

Our power went off this afternoon, many villages were off and we heard the bang when the problem occurred at the local electricity sub-station; shortly afterwards the local fire engine went out; presumably it had also caught fire too. We have a permanently fixed generator, but that also encountered problems, which I will not go into here as Mr A has included that information in his narrative today if you are interested.
