Sunrise Campbeltown Loch

8.3C and bright with sunny spells, sunny sunshine in the afternoon. Light to moderate Easterly breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish. The second burn that crosses the beach was too deep to get across in walking shoes and still keep dry feet so we didn't go as far as we normally can. Fergus had a good run along beside the dunes.

We went to Glenbarr for lunch. Fergus sat in the car. When we were in Motherwell recently we got an "anti bark" collar which makes a noise if he barks. Seemed to work the last twice when we were at the supermarket so we tried it today. We heard no barks and the ladies in Glenbarr shop didn't tell us they had heard him and they would have. He doesn't seem distressed by it but has picked up quickly not to bark if it is on. His reward was the little biscuit from my saucer.
