Portrait of a Raven!

Shopped in Brechin this morning, and booked car in for Winter Check.  Discovered the main road to Brechin is closed for two weeks for roadworks, so had to go MILES through country lanes.  Took me through roads I'd never travelled before  -  gave me lots of ideas for blips in the Spring.  Far to dreich and dark to get out of the car for today though☺  Bits of sunshine around when I got home  -  Blackbirds, Fieldfares, Magpies, and the two Ravens were all having a go at the apples on the tree and on the ground.  Most of my blips were like silhouettes because of the lack of light.  I did manage a reasonable shot of this Raven's neck and head' but couldn't get a good focus through my window  (which the camera told me needed cleaning!)  I've honoured him with some regal curtains (not mine) and the backdrop is my Sycamore tree taken in the Summer (appropriately through a rain-drenched window)!
