"I got one!"

The past week has not only been the usual  pre -Christmas crazy busy as it was Messiah concert week ( I actually skipped the Tuesday rehearsal) but we had a special mass Wed at church for a parish mission followed by a choir rehearsal. I get home after dark, it's pretty dim when I leave and it has been gray gloomy or raining which really limits the photography. Whine , whine , whine. And I have not even looked at blip recently! My phone is steadfastly refusing to open it, not sure what is up there and I am trying to finish a small knitting project before next Tues which limits evening use. Argh! And this week is make pannetone, marshmallows and pickles. Or something like that.I may downgrade. Celia may get a cheesecake this year.I keep asking myself why did I not take off at least 1 day? Ans: because you took off 2 whole weeks in Jan - went to Florida in August and Texas in October and you only have 2 vacation days left till July. Hindsight. Sigh.
 Anyway , my one half decent photo from the day was this little nuthatch carrying off his seed.
