It’s a really beautiful morning and I enjoyed my swim although I have to admit it’s getting a bit cold. A lot of the regulars are now wearing at least partial wetsuits; my brother found one in a charity shop last week for £5. He’s delighted; not least because he loves a bargain. But I don’t want to go down the wetsuit route. Apart from the practicalities of dealing with a wet wetsuit every day in a house with no outside space or shed, I want to prove to myself that I can swim daily without “help”.
Not many says now until Christmas and one of my targets will have been reached.
