limbering up for the pistes

Skiing at Sunshine today was quite fantastic.

While it is a nasty-14C in Calgary, a short trip to the Rockies sees lots of beautiful powder and -2C: almost perfect skiing conditions. There has been lots of snow and this is the earliest I have been skiing for quite a few seasons. Lake Louise was reportedly even better, but the women's world cup downhill was taking place there.

Was led doen a couple of challenging black diamond runs today by Isaiah who, at 5, looks like he will be a very good skier indeed!
