Waiting his turn on the feeder...
... on the Common. Lots of other birds, mostly chaffinches and tits, competing for the bird food. After yesterday's high winds, rain, sleet, hail, snow, and freezing rain, in no particular order, it was nice to wake up this morning to much better weather. Still very cold up on the Common though, and most of the pond was iced over when we went for a very short walk around the path just before lunch time.
MrM spent the day in the workshop, starting to make a bookshelf for the 'Music room', while I decorated the Christmas trees. We bought the largest as a small pot-grown tree 3 years ago, when it fit on the window sill in the living room. It's taller than me now, and on the floor in the big window in the living room. Like several of the flat-dwellers on the High Street, our trees add to the town's Christmas decorations.
