Hotel breakfast

CyclopsJnr slept til 8.20am, that was an extra hour at each end of his sleep compared to usual!

We had a lovely hotel breakfast. CyclopsJnr (and Grandma) had pancakes. CyclopsJnr also had melon, and a pastry.

Then we four went swimming. CyclopsJnr had the energy for an hour in the pool and he didn't cough very much.

We'd had plans for a little walk/bike and some lunch before heading off but CyclopsJnr said he was too tired. We decided to quit while we were ahead.


The conditions were fine on the drive back, we saw a bit of snow above Moffatt but it wasn't deep or still falling. Somehow CyclopsJnr didn't sleep til near Edinburgh! But it was ok he sat pretty quietly. We had a late lunch at Ikea then got the shopping in.

We had a fantastic weekend, declared a triumph all round. Lovely. A shame CyclopsJnr didn't feel completely well though that makes it all the more remarkable how well it went.
