“Strawberry Fields Forever”

Not one of my best shots but replanting six square meters of strawberry plants, installing a water drip system and mulching the whole garden was a good exercise. That many strawberry plants may seem a lot but the native birds and wildlife visit from time to time. Even our resident blue tongue lizard likes fresh fruit.

Extra Photos, After driving 588 miles to Ceduna an evening meal watching the sun set over the ocean was a bonus. Least expected after driving almost half way across Australia was to meet a friend who we had dent seen for nearly thirty years who was staying in the same van park. The second photo was taken heading across the Nullarbor to Eucla. The South Australian Government thoughtfully place a small sign of a camera showing a photo opportunity. This shot is looking East along the Great Australian Bight, turn 90deg to the right and there is nothing between you and the South Pole. Only a relatively short drive of 493 kilometres, tomorrow we head for Norseman in Western Australia 710 kilometres. Cheers Mal
