Rainbow

The Third Sunday of Advent and there was a lot going on at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church.

In the morning we held our annual Gift Service, with an extraordinary number of Christmas gifts donated for distribution to those in need via our local food bank. The generosity of our congregation never ceases to amaze me. Also at our morning service we had the young people in our J-Team lead us in their imaginative retelling of the nativity story.

Back at church in the afternoon, and a complete change of mood and pace as we held our annual Rainbow Service for those who have been bereaved and seek a time of reflection and remembrance. Today's Blip is a collage of photos from this afternoon's service.

A lazy evening in front of the TV will, hopefully, provide an opportunity to relax after all that.
