Watchful

After yesterday's freezing rain the wildlife had some refuelling to do; this watchful Kestrel soon found some prey in the fields below Moorside.  A small flock of Redwing took to the tree tops nearby, and in the next field down a couple of deer were taking daring strides into the open out of Spring Wood.

The Dam was part frozen and there were a couple of Gadwall in among the usual.

All of which provided a restful morning before I ventured into town for some Christmas shopping.
