Sunday madness

I rather fancied a gentle walk as the awful weather had passed. I headed for Barton Marina but forgot that, at this time of year, mayhem is unleashed around anywhere that sells stuff. Forget the dreadful “footfall” the shops are reporting, they were all out this morning. Pulling off the A38, about a mile and a half from the Marina, it was gridlocked.

So. back round the roundabout and off to Branston Water Park. No shops. Still busy but it was families and dogs.

And of course, the friendly robin.
