End of a golden day

It has been so warm today- 29 C.
We had a lot of plumbing issues this weekend, so at least the heat has dried out the saturated bedding, matress, carpet etc and the plumber came (on a Sunday) to do a temporary fix before we have some major work done.

Had a lovely lunch with friends in Cromwell; and a friend from Auckland came for pizza and salads under our new sun umbrella tonight.

A bit of a quick blip today...a shot from our upstairs window looking over Lake Wanaka. It was a very soft light, and the end of a lovely summer golden day.
