A Sign of the Times

I noticed this a week or two ago - it's just on Cornmarket in Belfast, where a building is getting renovated, and the shop sign has been taken down, revealing this old-style painted-on sign from goodness knows when! Wasn't something I expected to see walking to work, and it reminded me of the Ulster Folk Museum, one of my favourite places. Had to get a picture of it this morning before it got covered up again. Maybe one day it'll be seen again...

You can cover up the past, but you can't always hide it forever I guess.
