Elkhorn Slough

We took our visitors to the slough for a low-key adventure. The best came at the end as we found a few dead trees loaded with woodpeckers and a pair of herons hiding at the shoreline. We celebrated Extradays’ birthday at our local Middle-Eastern restaurant — good food and good company.
