Jock

This brilliant little guy recently had his first birthday.  He's A's fourth dog and the first that isn't a second hand pure breed Chihuhua.  All the others have had "proper" Kennel Club names  - "Sammy" was officially "Good Samaritan" , "Dancer" (or "Danger" as I like to call him) was "Dancing in the Dark", but Jock is a cross-breed of, we believe, Jack Russell and Yorkshire Terrier so has no "official" name.  So he was given the the fictional official name of "Foxy Jacaranda" - because he looks a bit fox-like and "Jack"* could be an abbreviation of Jacaranda**.  

*Jack was his given name when A got him second hand from Wales but, as he is now a resident of Scotland,  he has (tongue-in-cheek) become, "Jock".
