Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Starry night

I'm babysitting tonight while K & J are out at a ball, they've booked themselves a not in the hotel as a treat too. Think they are looking forward to a good night's sleep... I on the other hand expect to be woken early!
This star is one I bought for Eilidh in 2015, before Isobel arrived, it's by Georg Jensen and rather fine.
Today was very cold, so after a slow start I decided just to get on with walking. I did a fairly brisk 5.4 miles after which it was more or less time to head down here so we could have dinner with the girls.
We didn't see the storms which seem to have been affecting the west, but there has been some very cold rain /hail this evening and the temperatures have struggled to stay above freezing all day. Let's hope tomorrow is better. I've got an early start getting things ready in church.

Walking today, 14151steps. The good thing is I have completed over 50 miles of the 75 I have set myself to do this month as my "Race at Your Pace" challenge which means I should be able to lighten up over Christmas.
