Neglect

I realised I’ve rather neglected my blips recently, but this cold weather takes it out of me. Oh, and going for walks in the dark too.
On one day this week, my owner tried to copy the call of a bird that was making a noise in the dark trees of the wood. It went something like “twit-twoo”.
I think the bird replied a few times, but then we both saw a winged silhouette glide off through the branches and away.
