'Hark! the herald angels sing ... '

There was just no let up in the awful weather today .... the only plus point was that we were spared the freezing rain. It was very cold, we had sleet and more than enough rain.
L and I were driving to our brother's for an early Christmas get together so I was pleased that the roads remained ice free.
Glad to be safely home again.

It certainly hasn't been a day for an outside blip so a quick look at my decorations for some inspiration! This little angel is part of a much longer hanging which I sewed about 50 years ago but it was only a few weeks ago that I sent for the chain hanger so that my wee angels (3) could find their spot on the wall.
