Wet, cold, dark

What a horrible day for weather! We have had nothing but rain all day and it seemed not to get light. House lights on all day. I popped to our local butcher and I finally made the lady there smile and chat!! She’s been a mission for me....every time I go in she hardly smiles and very shy...today I found something that made her chat!! Mission accomplished!!
Decided to decorate my fire place and Chris put the fire on. This fire is a bit smelly but it looks pretty.
I’ve also picked up an eye infection, blinking nuisance but I am used to them as I do get them often. You would think getting medicated eye drops would be easy but sadly today not quite so. I had to go to three different places for what I wanted.
