Wild weather! Cosy indoors.
I've used a filter on the main and extra. Experimenting on my laptop.
I was up early this morning as I had to contact the Amazon helpline about some Christmas gifts I had sent to my nephew and his wife, for his two children.
They live in London and he phoned me last night to say they had not arrived. (due on December 9th)
I then found myself on "Live Chat", (as phoning them would've cost £3.90 a minute), with someone called Benhur!
Well Benhur was very helpful as it happens.
My tracking showed it delivered on the 9th December.
After a half hour of backwards and forwards I was really pleased that they gave me a full refund.
Now it means going into Birmingham on Monday to find replacements. My husband will be at a Board Meeting in London on Wednesday and our nephew works in another part of the building. (Several firms have different office spaces there). So he will take the replacement gifts with him.
As he only has 6 Board meetings there a year it is fortunate that one falls this week!
I cleaned out the nyjer seed feeders after breakfast to put them back on the trees outside. It was beginning to feel very wild and windy out there!
Extremely wet this afternoon and dark almost by 3.15pm.
I've been finishing off the cards and labelling some presents. Just the hand delivery cards to write now. All the ones to be posted have been done.
Rain keeps spattering on the front window and I can see the tree branches across the road waving wildly in the strong gusts.
The extra is one of the yucca outside through the rain spatters and the inside reflection.
Strictly Final this evening! It will go down a treat with some stollen and a glass of wine.
