FlowerFriday14_2018 Cheerful

This morning was spent cleaning mainly the shower room which is a disgrace in readiness for our friends arriving later at the weekend leaving me just enough time to pop out to fill my car with fuel and buy another Christmas present locally before dashing to my LVL lashes appointment.  After that, I had about 20 minutes to do a little more shopping before fetching Violet earlier than usual from her childminder: tonight is a Christmas outing for a group of them, hence the early pick up time.
Still there was no time to relax as we went to meet Mr MC at the practice so that we could go to buy a new TV for one of the bedrooms.  We eventually arrived home and settled down...only to realise that we'd come home without stopping to pick up MR MC's car which we'd left at work.  Finally we were in for good, Violet was cosily tucked up in bed and we at last managed to have our supper.
Somewhere along the line, I managed to photograph my bunch of supermarket roses, after dark as usual, so the lighting is not great but they are a cheerful colour, needed on a grey day like this. The extra is of Violet after she'd had her Advent calendar treat:  she does look rather sad but she certainly wasn't!
