Saffron Bolete?

I found this strikingly coloured specimen on the common this morning. Its not one I've ever seen before and I'm not sure what it is. My best guess is that its a young Saffron bolete. However, I know that Saffron bolete is quite rare and my default setting is that I never find anything rare so I'm open to any other suggestions. Habitat is on the edge of  mixed birch and oak woodland on a sandstone ridge. .
