Apus apus
I knew I would be at the Lodge all day, firstly working on the maintenance and following that a mini blip meet with Tryfan46 and Mrs T. After that a take away meal and off to the Penrith support group for Cumbria Wildlife trust. I knew photo opportunities would be limited so decided before leaving home what I was going to blip.
The talk was to be about the Common Swift, sadly rapidly becoming less common. The population has crashed by 51 - 57% in just 20 years. The talk was by Tanya and Edmund Hoare the driving force behind Sedbergh Community Swifts. The blip consists of the blip Clickychick posted 11/5/12 (on the laptop) and a screenshot (on the iPad) of it in use on the RSPB webpage in an article they did about Swifts.
