Belated birthday

Again,but this time our grandaughter who was eight two days ago,will not get to eat it.our son,wife and children were coming for the weekend.i had a telephone call that our daughter inlaws father had taken ill this morning and taken to hospital.so they had to go to Colchester .i gave the cake to our grandson for the children.i promised i will make another for when we visit them on boxing day .
