Dazzling Dogwood
... in Torquay. And brilliant berries on a large-leaf cotoneaster in Dartmouth (as my Extra). Photographed the amazing display of berries while waiting for the Dartmouth ferry.
Then the vivid winter-colouring of the dogwood's bare branches caught my eye as we drove along Torquay's ring road. It won the place for my main blip as the photo's composition offered more interest.
We achieved a little more Christmas shopping during the afternoon and since arriving home we've enjoyed homemade leek and potato soup. The wind's beginning to strengthen again, but I'm more than happy to be enjoying temperatures five or six degrees warmer than the rest of the UK. I've turned into a southern softie in my old age!
Thank you for all the compliments, stars and hearts for my yesterblipped blue tit and great tit collage. Have a lovely weekend, blipmates!
