Garden Perching Post

I collected some longish branches the last time I walked through the wood and I’ve only just got around to planting one of them next to the feeders.  It hasn’t taken long for the birds to use it as a temporary perch while they wait for an opportunity to get onto the feeder.  There are about twenty goldfinches in the flock, and only four spaces on the feeder.
