Jasper's girlfriend

My neighbour haa 2 similarly striped girl cats. Neither is a fan of Jasper but something has changed with Armalie.

She no longer hisses and growls at Jasper and each appears to seek the other out. They greet each other with a quick nose sniff and touch.

After that each gently maintains their personal space while covertly exerting the upper paw. One might claim a chair in the sun so they have elevation, or it might be claiming sone other strategic spot at ground level.

Armalie is very friendly and likes to visit inside other homes other than her own. That's not so good as she likes to mark Jasper's shrubs etc. I don't want that happening inside. Crossing the threshold from outside to in is not encouraged.

Jasper may need to learn to stand his ground more and claim his territory. They'll work it out.

Benedict made sure both cats understood who wore the furry pants and there were no Armalie visits.

Anyway, this image trumped the one of yellow weeks through the fence wires.
