Church porch

We collected the WI Christmas tree from St Nicolas church this morning. It had been part of a display of trees put on by the various organisations in the village. No one is quite sure why they don't stay there until after Christmas. Maybe they would take up too much room at a time when the church is very crowded. The church porch looked pretty, remnants of the decorations for a winter wedding.
I am looking after the tree again until next Wednesday when it will put in an appearance at the WI Christmas party.
