An out day; felt rubbish from the outset; swimmy head and lethargy / no power. Thankfully I had a relatively straightforward day ahead; EH5 into EH6 & 7; short bursts, weather fine, no difficulties or much thinking required. I dropped off the chilli ingredients to her and carried on around town; slowly meandering back home to soup and work.
I gave up at 6 - the lure of a Pint with Pensioner proving too strong to resist. (Do you think this could be a new blip challenge / Radio 4 show in the making? Hmmmm...discussing Brexit and fillums and a random topic of the guest's choosing...)
We hooked up at the Village, despite a dearth of decent beer, the artwork of Keith Paton was intriguing (he paints how I photograph BillBoard) before we adjourned to Ainslie Park. No Barce v Spurs; not for us the Liverpool v Napoli crucnh game; no Athletico or Borussia Dortmund or ...whoever. Top fo Division 2 Edinburgh City v 2nd place Peterheid. A decent crord in and we were treated to a 'cagey' first half. Thankfully the 2nd proved more lively. Peterheid took the lead with a well worked goal; Edinburgh levelled with their first shot on target(?) and then had a man sent off but still looked the more likely to win. Honours even; as you were.
We walked home through Pilton discussing Top of The Pops, Tallinn, bike riding on Jura and incontinence pants but nothing about where the door to the cludgie was.
Edit: The last paragraph should read
