Washing the fern

What my mom picked up at Cornwall Park she wanted to wash off and put in a vase. Check.

I find it interesting that my mom reads every sign or license plate we pass. Mostly she gets the words and letters right, but not always, and she doesn't understand the words' context or meaning very often. Today she read something with, "Affordable and . . ." then threw in something like "delicious." She must have known that wasn't quite it, so she added, "Well, I don't think so."
