Poetry in motion

It's amazing how short the days are now. When I get up in the early mornings, the sky is completely black. I light a candle on the little round table in the living-room and have instant soft and welcoming light. This morning, I noticed how pretty the Christmas decoration I bought in Lucerne looked against the window.  It's made of very thin wood and gently bent into a lantern shape and there is a crystal at the bottom which catches the light so prettily.
I excluded the flame from the candle reflected in the window as it was just distracting.
